What is Meridian?
Meridian is a redesigned cPanel interface, organized around what you are trying to accomplish. It introduces a redesigned, goal-oriented interface for cPanel with guided onboarding and task-based workflows that make it easier to move from account setup to a working website and ongoing management. Instead of navigating a long list of individual tools, users can work through experiences organized around real objectives – such as managing websites, configuring email, improving security, and monitoring performance. Meridian is also where cPanel’s AI capabilities live.
AI Assistant, AI App Hosting, and Sitejet AI are built into the Meridian interface, so guided help, application deployment, and AI-generated websites are all available without leaving the panel.

How do I enable Meridian?
Server administrators can enable Meridian per hosting package via WHM, or preview it first using the Feature Showcase before rolling it out to customers. Theme switching permissions for end users can also be controlled through WHM Feature Manager
How do cPanel AI features integrate with external AI developer tools?
Through Model Context Protocol (MCP) support, cPanel AI allows local AI developer environments (like Claude Desktop or Cursor) to securely connect to your hosting server. This enables AI tools to execute server management tasks, inspect logs, and manage environments with end-to-end security and scoped permissions.
Are Meridian and AI features included in my cPanel License?
Yes, Meridian is included as part of your standard cPanel license.
Starting in cPanel & WHM version 138, Meridian is shipped alongside the Jupiter theme as a built-in, next-generation end-user interface. There is no separate or additional license fee required to use the Meridian interface.
