Introducing cPanel & WHM Version 134

cpanel-version-134

The latest v134 update to cPanel & WHM is here. This release focuses on stronger security defaults, expanded platform support, and improved flexibility for modern hosting environments.

From default-enabled SSL purchasing to extended security coverage for legacy PHP versions, v134 helps hosting providers reduce friction, modernize infrastructure, and maintain secure systems at scale.

Top Release Highlights

SSL/TLS Wizard: Now Enabled by Default

SSL certificate purchasing is now enabled by default in the SSL/TLS Wizard. WHM administrators no longer need to manually enable this capability for end users.

Users can immediately purchase and install trusted Sectigo DV, OV, and EV certificates directly through cPanel. The updated interface highlights unsecured domains and guides users through certificate setup and installation.

Administrators retain full control through WHM’s Feature Manager and can disable the feature if required.

PHP Extended Lifecycle Support (PHP ELS)

cPanel & WHM v134 introduces backend support for PHP Extended Lifecycle Support (ELS), powered by TuxCare/CloudLinux.

This service provides continued security patching for unsupported PHP releases. It enables customers running end-of-life PHP versions to remain protected while modernizing their applications.

Customers can purchase and enable PHP ELS through the cPanel Store.

Once enabled, administrators can manage supported versions through Packages with visibility in PHP Manager.

WebPros Account Integration at Installation

New WHM installations now include optional WebPros Account integration.

For qualifying retail installations, WebPros authentication appears alongside traditional login methods during setup. This provides a unified login experience across WebPros products and simplifies first-time configuration.

CalDAV and CardDAV DoS Protection

This release adds a new security setting to WHM’s Tweak Settings interface.

The Enable CalDAV/CardDAV DoS Protection option (WHM » Home » Server Configuration » Tweak Settings) helps protect CalDAV and CardDAV services from Denial-of-Service (DoS) attacks by limiting request content length and size.

This enhancement improves service resilience for environments using calendar and contact synchronization.

CloudLinux™ 10 Support (New)

cPanel & WHM v134 adds support for the CloudLinux™ 10 operating system.

This enables hosting providers to adopt the latest CloudLinux platform while maintaining full cPanel & WHM compatibility. CloudLinux 10 support represents a major platform milestone for CloudLinux-based environments.

For installation requirements and compatibility details, please review the CloudLinux system requirements documentation.
