One of the most important pieces of feedback on this survey was related to features delivered in 2024:

1. Built-in load balancing, replication, high availability (30.8%) 

2. Improved Webmail experience (25%) 

3. Third-party SMTP support (Google, Mailgun, etc.)  

4. Standalone Nginx support as an Apache alternative  

5. Offload mail services from cPanel server  

6. Account-level CDN integration  

7. Enhanced Two-Factor Authentication for WHM  

8. Restore from remote backups  

9. Extended security patches for older PHP versions 

10. One-click staging sites  

In the course of 2025, we plan to deliver at least half of the requested features.

We received a lot of valuable feedback from this survey and are very much taking the results to heart, which include: 

“Focus on fixing administrative headaches that WHM/admins deal with when hosting hundreds of sites” 

“It’s expensive but we still love cPanel; its the best!” 

“I’m happy the way it is. It’s easy to use and learn. Great documents of all needs, i.e. installing, what to do for certain Operating Systems.” 

“Enhance the user interface for modern simplicity and modern design” 

“Change the cPanel university certifications from 1 year to 5 year. Your software doesn’t change enough to justify yearly exams. Honestly, it should be lifetime certification.”

Starting from December 1, 2023, the retail rate for JetBackup has increased from $5.95 to $8.95 per month for all newly purchased licenses. 

Changes for Current License Holders Starting March 2024

To ensure a smooth transition for all our customers and partners, we have successfully negotiated a delay in these changes, giving you ample time to plan ahead. Therefore, the price increase for JetBackup licenses purchased via the cPanel store or Manage2 before December 1, 2023, will come into effect as of March 1, 2024.
