Functionality
Easier Access through Mobile Devices
If you use your mobile device to access cPanel and WHM, you'll enjoy several improvements. For example, cPanel/WHM will use cookie authentication instead of HTTP authentication with compatible devices, which can reduce the number of authentication requests by up to 50%.
You also get near-real-time email delivery to mobile devices compatible with IMAP IDLE, when your server runs the Dovecot mail server. And we implemented a more efficient web server, for all-around faster access to cPanel and WHM from your mobile device's web browser.
Enhancements for Resellers
We've improved our bandwidth statistics generation process. The result: resellers get more reliable metrics and more accurate graphs. Bandwidth usage data is now retained for 10 years while incurring minimal disk usage overhead. And if you migrate to another server architecture (i386 vs. x86-64), our bandwidth statistics generator will produce reliable data for your new server.
Improvements for Server Administrators
Administrators who manage multiple servers at once from a web browser will notice that we've added the server's short hostname to the WHM title bar (for example, the WHM interface for server1.example.com would display "server1"). This makes it much easier to locate the browser tab or window for the WHM interface you want to use.

More Intelligent Language System
For this release, we've completely reworked the language system used by the cPanel and WHM interfaces. Previously, each interface's wording was tied to keys that needed to be interpreted before being translated. This new system reduces the number of keys within the language mapping system to a single key per phrase. Now, the verbiage is much more intuitively organized.
This new language system will also support right-to-left (RTL) languages, facilitating complete and accurate translations into any language. This means that developers of cPAddons, plugins, and themes will have a much easier time integrating languages other than English into cPanel and WHM.
In addition, our new language system lays the foundation for WHM to be translated into languages other than English — which has never been possible before.
