Flexibility

With over 10 years of experience in web hosting automation, we've used our experience to take a fresh approach to this new product. cPanel Server Suite is built from the ground up in native Windows technologies and is built with flexibility in mind. cPanel Server Suite is built to be used with stand-alone servers or in a distributed server environment. This means that one or more cPanel Server Suite servers will be able to manage many web servers across a Windows Domain allowing for easy automation and maintenance of a set of servers, or your entire data-center.

Scalability

By using Active Directory, user information and reseller privileges are safely stored with scalability in mind. Beyond the ability to manage multiple servers with one or more cPanel Server Suite installs, cPanel Server Suite will employ user based licensing to allow you to only pay for the users you need. You'll be able to easily upgrade your license when additional users are required.

Performance and Security

After studying Microsoft IIS7, we've seen a major increase in performance and security so we will be releasing our product to work with Microsoft IIS7 and Windows Server 2008. Microsoft will release Server 2008 and IIS7 next spring but test copies are available for free until release. All cPanel Server Suite installs should be on a fresh copy of Microsoft Windows Server 2008.

Interoperability / Features

The cPanel Server Suite interface mirrors that of cPanel and WHM for Linux. This mirroring allows your staff and customers to understand both products without having to relearn their daily workflow. This should reduce training time for your staff and customers. While many features of cPanel Server Suite are the same as cPanel and WHM for Linux, features that do not make sense on Windows have been removed and some Windows only features have been added. cPanel Server Suite retains the rich reseller and account features of the Linux version.
