cPanel is currently looking for a motivated and experienced accountant to perform accounting related duties and coordinate with our outside accounting services.
Requirements:
- US work eligibility
- Degree in Accounting, Business, or Finance
- Minimum of 5 years of basic accounting experience
- Knowledge of spreadsheets and Quickbooks
- Nominal tax experience
- Very detail oriented and capable of following issues to completion
- Solid time management skills
Job Duties:
- Maintains multiple general ledgers
- Maintains inventory/purchases/fixed assets system and ensure timely reporting by employees
- Posts payroll information to payroll provider
- Tracks and reviews employee spending/expenses and ensures timely reporting by employees
- Initiates monthly ACH collections
- Processes checks, ACH and other collections from clients to accounts receivable and general ledger
- Prepares and makes bank deposits
- Prepares bank reconciliations
- Prepares multiple subsidiary system reconciliations
- Coordinates the submission of records to outside accounting/tax services.
- Tracks and maintains company insurance policies
- Prepares and presents ad hoc reports to management and company executives
- Adheres to the policies and procedures of the cPanel companies
