cPanel is currently seeking a self-disciplined individual for our Quality Assurance Department.
Qualifications:
- US work eligibility
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience administrating Linux and FreeBSD operating systems
- package management systems such as RPM, dpkg and Ports
- Apache
- BIND
- Exim
- MySQL
- and like services as used in a web hosting environment
- Experience with various virtualization technologies such as
- Xen
- KVM
- Linux-VServer
- Test planning and writing
- Experience with PERL, Shell scripting and software debugging
- cPanel product experience
Special consideration will be given to candidates with the following:
- Experience with software development practices and tools
- Software Quality Assurance background
Job Duties:
- Designing and performing manual and automated tests
- Maintenance and improvement of test environments
- Auditing issue tracking system
- Coordinating with Tech Support and Development on product development and issue resolution
- Creating and performing tests for Apache, Exim, DNS and related systems
